Reaching out can be the hardest part. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and work through life’s challenges with a trained therapist who listens without judgment.
You don’t need to have all the answers, or even know where to start. Therapy is a private space to be heard, gain perspective, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
One of the most important parts of starting therapy is finding someone you feel comfortable talking to and who understands what you’re looking for. Research shows the relationship between you and your therapist is one of the most essential ingredients for meaningful change.
Feeling comfortable with your therapist creates the space to be open, explore what’s going on, and work together in a way that feels meaningful to you.
That’s exactly what the free 15-minute call is for — a no-pressure chance to meet the therapist, ask questions, and get a sense of whether it feels like a good fit.
Somewhere to say it all out loud, without being judged, fixed or rushed. You set the pace, and share only what feels right.
Practical tools for everyday life
Develop practical strategies to manage difficult moments, navigate challenges, and feel more equipped to handle what comes your way.
Support through change
Grief, a big transition, a shifting relationship, a version of yourself you’re trying to find again – you don’t have to sort it out alone.
Support at your pace
Ongoing support that adapts to what you need, when you need it. You set the pace, whether that means regular sessions, taking a break, or coming back when you’re ready.
Your first visit, step by step
Not knowing what happens can be its own reason to put it off. Here’s how we spend that first hour together – gently, with no pressure to have the words ready.
1
We listen – at your pace
Every session is a conversation, and a space to get to know you. You only ever share what you’re comfortable with, and “I’m not sure where to start” is a perfectly good place to begin.
2
We work on what matters to you
You and your therapist gently shape what you’d like to focus on and how to get there. Your goals lead the way – it’s built around you.
3
Support that continues
There’s no set number of sessions and no pressure to keep coming. You go at the rhythm that suits you — do some work, head back into life, and return when you want to.
A space to work through what matters to you
People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons — big and small. Some of what we can work through together:
Stress, burnout and feeling overwhelmed
Anxiety and worry
Low mood and changes in mood
Grief and loss
Life transitions and big decisions
Relationship and family difficulties
Self-worth, confidence and identity
Coping with change and uncertainty
Parenting and family concerns
School and academic stress

How soon can I be seen?
Usually within the week, at either location — when you feel ready to start, we’ll help you find a time that works.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. What you talk about stays between you and your therapist. There are limits your therapist will walk you through at the start. This is a safe, confidential space.
Can I book therapy for my child or teen?
Yes. We work with children, teens and families, with therapy tailored to their age, needs and circumstances. Depending on the situation, parents or caregivers may also be involved as part of the process.
Can I attend therapy with my partner or family member?
Yes. Therapy can be provided individually, as a couple, or with family members. Your therapist will work with you to understand the relationships and circumstances involved and find the approach that will help most.
Can I have therapy virtually?
Yes. Virtual appointments are available if you’d rather meet from home or find online sessions more convenient. Your therapist can help you decide whether virtual or in-person is the best fit.
Whenever you’re ready
There’s no pressure to have everything figured out before you reach out. When you’re ready, we’re here to offer a comfortable space to talk, reflect and work through what’s going on. With two locations and virtual appointments available, we typically have openings within the week.
