Registered Massage Therapist
Vernon Tang
Vernon is a registered massage therapist who came to the work from a background in powerlifting, bodybuilding and sport – so he knows the wear and tear the body takes. His care focuses on finding the root cause of your discomfort rather than just the symptoms, pairing hands-on manual therapy with practical changes to how you move day to day, so the problem doesn’t keep coming back.
True care is helping each person become their best, optimal self – because when people move better, they feel better, and live better.
His story
From finance to fascia
My path to becoming an RMT was unconventional – I started out as a finance major, and it wasn’t until I finished my degree that I realized the industry wasn’t for me. With a passion for fitness and a real desire to help people, I looked at my options and landed on massage therapy.
With more than ten years in bodybuilding and powerlifting, I was no stranger to the use – and abuse – the body takes from daily life. Discovering paramedical massage let me stay close to the things I love while helping others feel their best.
Having worked through plenty of my own sports injuries, I’ve learned first-hand how much proper movement can prevent injury in the first place, and how the right training supports both recovery and prevention. That’s why I bring so much of it into my practice.
